Marcus had prayed in the chapel for hours.
Hours had become a day.
The day had become a day and a night.
Finally he had left the chapel and entered the castle, claiming to look for food and water but actually trying to figure out what to say to his wife.

Philippe smiled to himself as he at last found his wife. He had been having a hard time finding her ever since she announced her pregnancy to the world, and to him. Her belly had grown large since then, but her appearances had grown thin.
He walked up to her, trying to contemplate some intelligent thought, something romantic or perhaps wicked to say. Something that would make her laugh or smile, anything but the frown she usually wore these days. The only time he ever saw her smiling since they were married had been when she seemed to feel the baby move inside her.

Amelia Tudor, now Pecuniaris, princes of Lothian an duchess in waiting, stood on the rooftop of her husband’s home, looking out over the grounds and the fields, across the lake, towards where she knew her parental home was, even though she couldn’t see it from up here.
She had just turned seventeen and the festivities to celebrate her birthday where still going on in the great hall of the castle, but she had sought out the loneliness of the rooftop.

Could it be? Was there still hope?

It was already dark outside when Aideen picked Maerwyn up from the floor and announced to her husband that it was past the little girls bedtime. Maerwyn protested as she wanted to hear the rest of the story her papa was reading to her and even though it pleased Aideen beyond anything that her husband and her daughter got along even better that most blood related fathers and daughters, she knew that if she didn’t put the eight month old to bed right now, the girl was bound to be tired and fussy the next day.

As fall started to settle in, so did Heather get accustomed to being the crown princes of Lothian. She was a gracious and caring girl and the role did not weigh hard on her, as she had a loving husband to support her. There was one thing that did bother her. Every month she could hear the servants whisper as they saw the bloody rags she gave away for washing. Every month again she could hear them say that it wasn’t the prince’s fault, that he shared her bed every single night. Every month the whispering became more frequent and louder and she knew, as time would go by, that eventually they would start speaking instead of whispering.
She had spoken to the queen about it and her mother in law had reassured her. She had only been married for six months, how could she expect to already haven shown signs of pregnancy? She had to give it time and be grateful. Once the lord would see it fit to bless them with a child, she would certainly have her son and heir.

Hello and welcome to the Lothian studio-tour. Please keep your hands and arms inside the vehicle at all times. Enjoy your ride!
During this series, of which this one is the very first, I will try to sketch the sets on which my RKC-sims live, thus showing the houses they inhabit. Please keep in my that I build none of these houses myself. I did alter a lot of them, and I did the decorating of all of them myself.
I’m an awful builder, but I love trying to give the houses an old feel and decorating them as I see fit for the family. Ready? Here we go? For each house I have the outside shot and then an overhead shot of each floor plus one “internal†shot, showing one of my favourite rooms, typical for that house.
